Kylie, Britney, Justin & Me
I was asked by Walsall Council to exhibit some of the awards that have been presented to me during my thirty years in the recording industry. During that time I’ve been fortunate enough to be involved with thirty two number one records and one hundred and sixty nine top forty entries. These Platinum, Gold and Silver Discs, awarded during these years, along with four label of the year awards for Jive Records, 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002 , a Managing Director of the year for 1999 are currently on display at Walsall Museum, Litchfield Street, Walsall, West Midlands.
My reasons for agreeing to the exhibition, are to give the people of Walsall an opportunity to see some memorabilia, that would not normally be seen in the area, and to inspire the youth of Walsall to chase their own particular dream. Surely if my dream came true, they too must have an opportunity to succeed like me, even from a small provincial town like Walsall.
The exhibition opened on July 1st 2006 and is running until March 2007, it has been the most successful exhibition in the history of Walsall Museum.
