What makes a hit record?
Or, to be more precise, who makes a hit record?

For the public it is a talented performer. A larger than life character who often achieves celebrity status. But the reality is a little different. Behind every worldwide superstar a small army of people toil away. And this army is often led by extraordinary individuals with vision, talent and drive.

But we never find out about these people. Until now.

Follow the incredible journey that took Steve Jenkins from his humble roots in Walsall England to garnering over 260 gold and platinum records across the world for some of the most well-known names in the music business. From Elvis to Justin Timberlake, from Britney to Groove Armada, from Rory Gallagher to Merle Haggard. The list encompasses just about everyone you’ve ever heard of.

Read the book and find out just how he became Britain’s best kept secret.
And prepare to be amazed. If you love music you’ll love this book.
