My Eyes Adored You. Frankie Valli

This song originally titled, ‘Blue Eyes in Georgia,’ written by Bob Crewe and Kenny Nolan. It was recorded by The Four Seasons in 1974, MoWest Records baulked at the idea of releasing it and sold it to Frankie for 4,000 dollars. Valli tried to get it released but was rejected by everyone including Capitol and Atlantic Records, finally Larry Uttal of Private Stock Records agreed to release it but only as a Valli solo record not as The Four Seasons, the record went to Number 1 in the U.S.A. on 22nd March 1975.
